INVERSE KINEMATIC PROBLEM OF SEISMOLOGY. INVERSION OF BURST REFRACTED WAVE HODOGRAPH
Keywords:

Abstract
One of the methods to determine the velocities of seismic waves propagation in the Earth is the inversion of seismic hodographs. This problems breaks down into two others: the first is a derivation of hodographs inversion formulas, second – to smooth the observed seismic hodographs using such functions that could satisfy the condition of solvability. It turns out that such functions are convex cubic splines. Here we solve only one problem – the inversion of burst refracted waves hodograph.![](/templates/images/icons/ic_views.png)
