STRUCTURAL-FORMATIONAL ZONING OF GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF DAGESTAN IN CONNECTION WITH INVESTIGATION OF SEISMITY AND GAS CONTENT

Abstract

The article highlights the most important results of the studies of structural-formational zoning of geological structure of the Dagestan. Studied the material composition of sedimentary cover and seismopaleotectonic activity of subsoil on different stages of folding. Identified the regularities in the typification of the tectonic movement and geomorphological features in the ratio intracrustal folding of surface of Mesozoic topography with landscape. Defined similarity of geotectonic development of Dagestan part of the Caspian shelf and neighboring oil and gas structures, which suggest the possibility of discovery new deposits in the Caspian sea.
