Abstract

The paper generalizes data about Tersk-Caspian depression lineaments, allocated on the basis of gravimetric and remote investigations. To improve the reliability of interpretation the geological-field data and the results of geodynamic observations were additionally involved. Using of complex investigation of regional geological and geophysical materials, together with the geomorphology, geothermic, hydrogeology and interpretation results of cosmic geological survey and aerial survey, allowed compiling map of fault tectonics data about Tersk-Caspian depression, systematize rupture dislocations on the status of the earth’s crust, geological significance, depth, morphology and kinematic characteristics, time of location and the main periods of active development, the regime and the geodynamic conditions of formation.
