Abstract

Results of natural experiments to enhance the capacity of the optical observations of the atmosphere and outer space from Earth's surface and back in the presence of stratiform clouds are presented. The problem is solved by creating zones of clearing in the clouds by methods and means of active effects. The impact was performed on stratiform clouds, the most frequently making difficulties for such observations. These clouds occupy large areas and exist over the region for a long time. Technique of active impacts, terrestrial and airborne equipment configuration, the results of the impact and zone characteristics of translucence for the two types of clouds are given.
