Abstract

As a result of seismotectonic division into districts of the Big Sochi and adjoining nine seismoactive zones are allocated. The Mzymta-Beskessky seismoactive zone is allocated as deep focusing on localisation of the hypocentres of earthquakes more deeply 25 km. Structurally-spatial position of congestions of the centers of earthquakes within this zone confirms a hypothesis about the mechanism of their occurrence caused subduction of the Black Sea plate under Transcaucasian.
