Abstract

In the article were examine the dependence of the spectral characteristics of seismic waves on the structure of the upper part of the section. It is shown that the introduction of the value of the weighted mean period of oscillations of soils considerably increases the quality of the differentiation of the soils of different form. The results of the analysis of field data in the form of relationships for the calculations of terrain densities of different forms are given. The dependence of the spectral composition of seismic waves on the power, the physicomechanical conditions of the ground, component ground thickness, and hydrogeological conditions is examined. The conclusion about the high expediency of use with seismic city planning of powerful pulse and vibration artificial nonexplosive sources is made on the basis of data analysis. In the work there were used the complex of the methods: field and numerical (on the physico-mathematical models) experiments, and also conducting experiments according to the analysis of the spectral characteristics of soils on the laboratory models Special attention was given to a study of the absorption coefficients of seismic energy in different forms of soils. It is shown that use of the extended type of the indices of soils, in particular, due to the start of standard spectral characteristics makes it possible to considerably increase authenticity and reliability of the establishment of the geological engineering section of ground thickness and its hydrogeological conditions.
