Abstract

The previous and now acting maps of the seismic zoning of the Azerbaijan territory, the methods of their composition are analyzed. The inadequacy of these maps to the real seismic danger is noted. The new method of evaluating the seismic danger is proposed. The high degree of the seismic shakability differentiation of the Azerbaijan territory in the space and according to the degree of its manifestation is revealed.
