Abstract

In all variations in determination by glaciologists a character (geodynamic type, behaviour mechanism) of the disaster in its epicenter (glacier surge, its fall, collapse, displacement, fault etc.) the main reason, the main operative factor of this disaster is water according to the position of Russian glaciologists. Numerous documentarily defined actual data which characterizes the features of this disaster, however, fully disproves such glaciological version.
