GEOLOGICAL ENGINEERING CONDITIONS AND THE SEISMIC SITUATION IN THE ZARAMAG HPS REGION, REASONS FOR THE POSSIBLE ACTIVATION OF THE DANGEROUS GEOLOGICAL AND EXOGENOUS PROCESSES

Abstract

The subject of a study is the Zaramag HPS region, in particular the territory of reservoir and of headwork unit. Special attention is given to the Zaramag-Nar basin, where territorially are located the reservoir, the Zaramag HPS cascade weir, and the headwork unit. Are described dangerous exogenous processes - gravitational landslides, mudflows, avalanches, rockfalls, which have wide distribution in the investigated region. In detail questions of the reservoir influence on the Zaramag and Tib mineral waters and Transcaucasian Highway illuminated.
