Abstract
The paper compares the results of street canyons aerodynamics mathematical modeling. The effect of the length of the street canyon and the height of the houses on characteristics of air flow in urban canopy is investigated. It is shown that the change in the configuration of urban canopy leads not only to a quantitative but also a significant qualitative change in the pattern and speed of air flow. Results can be used to solve a wide range of geologic-geophysical and geoecological problems (prediction and assessment of consequences of emergency situations, concentrations of polluting substances, etc.).![](/templates/images/icons/ic_views.png)
