Abstract

Influence of soil conditions evaluation on the seismic effect of possible earthquakes includes searches and determination of physic-mechanical conditions of the ground and actions simulation taking into account the ground structure. During the construction of mathematical models some specific assumptions frequently are assumed. Procedures of the ground conditions study and simulation in their indissoluble connection based on the procedure of the Vladikavkaz city soils seismic hazard assessment. Results of strong motions data bases using (based on example K-NET) for selecting the seismic records according to the fundamental characteristics of earthquakes (magnitude, the source depth, epicentral distance) and soil conditions of the corresponding stations on the basis of the greatest similarity of the ground models.
