Abstract

The fluctuations of solar activity and the action of the sun corpuscular radiation on the ionosphere generates magnetotelluric currents leads to structural changes in the Earth radiation belt, change in the planet magnetic field, which leads to a change in the electric field of the Earth’s outer shell. Interaction of the ionospheric and inductive currents of the Earth, under the conditions of the constantly changing relative position of the revolving Earth’s shells electrical and magnetic fields vectors generate the atmospheric currents, which are manifested in the form of the lightning discharges. Telluric and atmospheric currents have different spectral and energy characteristics, used for the practical purposes for studying of structure and composition of the Earth’s crust, lithosphere and underlying Earth’s geospheres. Different geological and atmospheric conditions can cause physical fields different in the characteristics and types, interaction between which will be typical only for this geological section. Specifically, this special feature of the appearance of Earth’s physical fields as a result of geological environment and internal processes interactions; also geological environment and external factors of planetary and extra-planetary scales is base for the variations in the physical fields and their correlations investigating. Special feature of the telluric currents manifestation under the geological and tectonic structures of the Greater Caucasus conditions are examined, the time interval of their maximum generation, geoelectric section, anomalous special features of geological interpretation are given in the article.
