Abstract

Laws governing the formation of morphological structures and dependence of their localization on the structural-tectonic blocking of the earth’s crust are examined. Basic morphological structures along the northern slope of the center section of the large Caucasus are isolated according to the formational and structural-tectonic signs. The correlation of the basic forms of relief with the special features of the block structure of pre-Jurassic foundation is established. On the basis of the structural geophysical methods the attitude of vladikavkaz deep breaking and fragment of Ardon breaking in the section of profile V. Zgid - Dzhimid layer are established.
