Abstract

The new approach for the choice of initial impacts and methods for calculation of seismic stability of structures is proposed. The feasibility for recurrence period definition of the project and the maximum design earthquake is given. The features of the GSZ and DSZ maps are briefly considered. It is shown that account of possible errors due to selection of the map type is requiredThe provisions of the new concept of earthquake engineering standards, which assumes the design of buildings and structures with defined seismic resistance and necessary level of security for population life and health, are considered.
