Abstract

The facts are adduced testifying to the allochtonous mode of fossil coals accumulation and to formation of cyclicity of coal-bearing series as a result of an unidirectional interrupted lifting of the washout areas at the time of deposition of coal-bearing series. A correction of some theses of sedimentology and geotectonics is required.
