Abstract

The relevance is determined by the need to create a scientific basis for the reassessment of known ore regions for the presence of highly liquid gold ores and the search for new gold mining facilities in previously unexplored territories to diversify the mining and metallurgical industries of North Ossetia (Alania). Aim. To identify the geophysical signs of mineralization of non-ferrous and precious metals and the potential gold content of ore-magmatic systems. Methods. Analysis of the results of using geophysical data when performing work within the territories promising for gold. Construction of a combined map of local anomalies of gravitational and magnetic fields based on the analysis of amplitude characteristics using a database of geophysical data for a 1:1000000 scale Geological map of the Russian Federation according to sheet K-38.39 (Makhachkala). Analysis of spatial distribution of deposits and manifestations of non-ferrous and precious metals relative to geophysical anomalies. The results obtained and their discussion. The experience of using geophysical data when performing work within the territories of the Amur region that are promising for gold is analyzed. The results of data processing of geophysical surveys in the mountainous part of the territory of North Ossetia (Alania) using modern methods of potential field transformation are presented. Summary maps of local anomalies of the gravitational and magnetic fields have been compiled. The peculiarities of the spatial position of deposits and ore occurrences of non-ferrous and precious metals relative to anomalies of gravitational and magnetic fields have been revealed within North Ossetia (Alania). The occurrence of ore-magmatic systems of the granitoid type to negative gravity anomalies has been established. It is shown that potentially gold-bearing ore-magmatic systems are located within positive magnetic field anomalies.
